Conference Ukraine – Europe – the East: Lviv, December 13-14, 2016
Conference Ukraine – Europe – the East: problems and perspectives of modern humanities, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Yaroslav Dashkevych, will be held in Lviv on 13-14 December 2016.
Subject matter of the conference: Ukrainian Studies and Armenian Studies in Y. Dashkevych’s scholarly heritage; source studies, historiography, archaeography and special historical disciplines; history of the Armenian diaspora; historical, linguistic and cultural ties between Ukraine and the East; languages and literatures, history, philosophy, culture and religion of Eastern countries; relations between Ukraine and Asian countries; Ukrainian-Turkish relations.
The conference will host a roundtable “Ukraine and the Crimean issue”.
Floor languages of the Conference: Ukrainian, English and Turkish.
