A book launch event for the collection of B.G. Kurtz research papers

15 Dec. 2015, at 11:00 a.m. the Kyiv National University Faculty of History (auditorium 349) will host a book launch event for the collection of B.G. Kurtz research papers titled “Eastern Europe and Asia: history of trade relations in 16^th to mid-20^th cent.”. The book was prepared for print by the A. Krymsky Institute of Oriental Studies, NASU.

B.G. Kurtz was an Ukrainian orientalist, victim of political repressions of 1938. The collection includes works covering the history of Russo-Chinese trade contacts, contemporary socioeconomic history of Asian countries, history of Ukraine and Ukrainian Oriental studies. The event will be attended by scholars, Chinese diplomats and media.
